In so much as establishing formal guidelines that I think DM already meets, but allowing for more comprehensive adoption on a steady basis?
This jumped out at me in that regard:

The U.S. government now sees a chance to rally other nations to agree to norms affecting other military uses of AI, including things like data collection, development, test and evaluation, and continuous monitoring.
