If they really had any interested parties no way would this guy be stepping down.  He would want the glory of having sold it.

Looks like they couldnt get an offer or at least an offer worth anything and he realizes he is too old to put in the effort so he will sit on the board doing F all like most board members do.

Never heard of a company bringing in a new ceo and then selling out right after that.

Get ready for mass dilution to bring this thing to production

.76/ share coming soon!

think that's a bit of a leap.  nobody said there were no interested parties. nobody said no offers either.

an offer worth anything?  that might be closer to the right thing. a lowball offer will or has been rejected is my guess. hence plan B, which they've been advertising all along. looks like there is no bidding war at present.

too old to put in the effort? that's.... insulting?  ageism much?!  he also runs VUL too.  and is what, on the BOD for 3xpoint? busy guy.

nobody said mass dilution either. that's a guess.  so is my guess of mostly debt financing. there will be some dilution to be sure. too much at stake for there not to be.

one thing we can look fwd to is from the NR:  "Atlas will be taking other immediate and near-term steps to further strengthen its overall team and value proposition"

looks like this won't be the only hire either.  bringin in a money guy is my next bet. unless the new CEO also happens to be a money-man...maybe a couple more people. CEO, money guy, and maybe a couple other ranch hands...

pat on the board.
rowland as the president.

new CEO?
new CFO/money guy?
new mine guy? a chief boots on the ground type of guy. not sure that's rowland.

here comes the lull....until we know who the institutions are, or who the hires are, it's all guessing. and when the market is guessing, you can be rest assured that the SP only goes 1 way... maybe we've stabilized until we can get some more info as to who is our "strategeic investors" and who the hires are gonna be...

time to take a really long position...
