RE:RE:Prudent?

RE:RE:Prudent? You may as well be the CEO because you don't seem to have any common sense in reporting the guidance of future Shopify earnings from this last report either. Why do you think he was on BNN soon after the report trying to do damage control? Because he had a great quarterly report and he downplayed it and investors lost big time instead of winning, which is what should have happened with this report. He also had regret that he had downplayed the guidance because he gave many reasons why he was bullish on forward earnings, yet sheepishly admitted to being "prudent" when reporting it. The stock has been sliding ever since the quarterly report. Do you buy stocks to lose? I doubt it, and in this environment investors need to hear as much enthusiasm as can reasonably be given by the leaders of companies if it's warranted. There were many analysts that upgraded their target price on Shopify right after this report. Clearly even they thought the CEO had downplayed the forward earnings.
