TIMMICKEL - ( Timmins Nickel ) SUDBURY - Fist thing that comes ot mind when the word Sudbury is spoken ?
Why It's the big nickel - a world renown location for nickel mining.
Falconbridge was once the mainstay name, fastforward it's - Vale and Glencore.
Vale, only has 50 million tonnes left... yet, other juniors nearby are still finding nickel.
Since inception - ( all miners ) - Sudbury has mined a tad over
= 8 million tonnes of nickel.

VOISEY'S BAY - Ahhh, the infamous Labrador nickel deposit.
141 million tonnes @ 1.63% nickel It too is low on ores.

TIMMINS - There's a few new junior explorers making a splash - and succeeding in finding nickel.
Canada nickel - Has some serious tonnage to boast about -
2023 - According to Canada Nickel, Crawford is the fifth-largest nickel sulphide project in the world, with early studies suggesting the presence of about
= 3.5 million tonnes of nickel.
Incredible intercepts - no... not the grades of, Voisey's Bay but evenstil, size matters and to compare with underground mining such as Sudbury - this Timmins junior is hitting home run's
at incredible pace - Just north of Timmins - this region has nickel right at surface with head turning intercepts over 300 meters in thickness - making it an ideal candidate for open pit mining.
They've amassed vast lands and have successfully hit several other secondary minerals of great interest - copper, chromium, PGE.
Quite impressive.

EV NICKEL - is to the south of, Timmins.
Similar nickel grades and has also secured all the more lands.
At present, this junior is in the process of assembling a resource - with an approx 500 million tonnes with the hopesof, keeping thier grades on mark - ( 0.24% range +/- ) quite similar to
Canada Nickel.
To be fair, both these Timmin's nickel explorers have encounter higher grades.

Why bring awareness to - Timmins ?
I had no idea Canada Nickel had amessed that much resource .
And... after scannning the area for more nickel juniors, i came across EV Nickel which alos impressed me - sizable land package - with similar drill intercepts near same as, Canada Nickel but, only nickel - again, in the 300+ meter range.
Not too often does one come across a junior with such thick mineralization.
Yes... those are some serious nickel intercepts.
Comparing both juniors ( north and south ) of Timmins, there's definitely a distinct nickel zone
in which had me asking myself...
Could this be adistrict scale ?
With a few calculations - factoring each of these two Timmins - nickel juniors -
Then compared Sudbury's tonnage -
I arrived at the answer... YES.
Timmins could very well be the hidden gem.
District scale potential - NICKEL.
Which then had me wondering -
Would Canada Nickel ever make a move on - EV Nickel ?
If they ever did.... would they even allow EV Nickel to calculate a resource ?
Who knows...
If Canada Nickel ever did so...
They'd have a major presence ( not to mention dominance ) in the Timmins area.
Clean sweep.
Am i invested in any nickel stocks around Timmins.
Yes. I scooped a few shares of - EV Nickel.
Canada Nickel was out of my price league - wink.
Crossed fingers - EV Nickel can make a splash and wave of their own -

Moreso a simple post making comparisions of nickel miners vs up n coming nickel juniors.
I'm sure there are other nickel plays out there that also have a great story.
But... It seems Ontario and Quebec of late - are hot provinces to invest in.
Timmins, is already famous for gold.
Who would've thought famous for nickiel too.
These two Timmins juniors haven't even tapped their full potential of thier land packages.
Each are reporting new nickel finds....
Which begs... if they keep finding more nickel, with 300+ meter intercepts - it won't take too long to surpasss Sudbury's 8 million tonnes - but of course these two juniors are still in situ mineral value - still in the ground - but each are moving at a quick pace...
i wonder if the Sudbury Majors.... have eyes on these two nickel explorers ?
if more nicke lis found.... would the city of Timmins ever consider erecting thier own nickel statue,
could be a good idea... and of course - stamp the statue with the words - TIMMICKEL - ( wink )

to Timmins - I tried looking for such a map online - nothing was found.
