Winter Drill ProgramMartyboss, the Winter drilling program does include Penex. No one said it didn't.
It's just starting near the Bur deposit. Later on, it will move on to Penex.
"...This year’s winter drill program will
focus on discovery near our existing deposits
at the Bur and Penex Properties. Several untested high-priority drill targets on both properties have excellent potential for discovery..."
https://rockcliffmetals.com/investors/news-releases/rockcliff-to-drill-untested-anomalies-at-the-high-grade-bur-property-red-cloud-to-assist-rockcliff-in-enhancing-corporate/ I am really looking forward to results from Penex when the drill bit reaches this site, sometime after the newer targets near Bur, have already been tested.
More discovery at Bur is important to maximize the tonnage (already at 5.3 million tonnes) of valuable ore from that regional deposit. Apparently the total tonnage discovered to date is simply an insufficient amount to start up a new mine.
But I expect that the new targets near Bur will find some additional resources and bring the tonnage of ore up to a much more significant amount. That may either peak Hudbay's attention or draw some other miner to that site. It is already quite a large deposit. Potentially doubling that amount, would be quite an impressive move to have made!
Rockcliff Metals is seeking to find a
critical mass within its known copper deposits.
I am hoping that the Penex targets may also hit pay dirt for Rockcliff with some major, multiple VMS discoveries. Remember that Hudbay's Pen deposit is right on the door step of these new drilling targets. And Hudbay's huge Lalor deposit is only 4 km away!
Many valuable deposits of ore have already been found north and east of the Lalor site. Why wouldn't there be more located just a short distance away to the west?
It seems obvious to me that these targets will be money well spent on exploration!
The graphite zone appears to run in a different direction, more directly straight west and in a more southerly direction.
I find it incredible that the investment community seems to be ignoring Rockcliff's Winter's drilling program.
Maybe the company should promote it more! But that costs some extra money too!
For now, perhaps the company intends to focus most of its near term capital expense primarliy on their drilling plan. And for now that may make better sense while capital remains scarce!
Naturally, if the company finds a major VMS intercept at Penex, anyone who wants to buy shares, will then, have to pay more!
But as usual, much of the market prefers to buy, after the news has already gotten out. There is less risk in buying later, for many, even at a much higher price!
For those of us, who have done our due dilligence on the potential at this property, then the apparent risk about drilling here, seems a little overblown.
I have bought in heavily at these cheaper prices. And I expect to be well rewarded at some later date.
It's important to be patient on this one!
All the best! Java
