Athabasca Oil Corporation (AOC) is a Canadian energy company with a focused strategy on the development of thermal and light oil assets. AOC’s segments include Light Oil and Thermal Oil. The Thermal Oil segment includes the Company’s assets, liabilities and operating results for the exploration, development and production of bitumen from sand and carbonate rock formations located in the Athabasca region of Northern Alberta. It also consists of two operating oil sands steam assisted gravity drainage projects and a resource base of exploration areas in the Athabasca region of northeastern Alberta. The Light Oil segment includes its assets, liabilities and operating results for the exploration, development and production of light crude oil and medium crude oil, tight oil and conventional natural gas. Its Light Oil segment consists exclusively of the Duvernay in the Greater Kaybob area with about 155,000 gross acres across Kaybob West, Kaybob North, Kaybob East and Two Creeks.

RE:RE:RE:Trajectory is Up I made this remark, in jest, 3 years ago. With debt at $1Billion but trading at 20 cents on the dollar, and the stock trading in the teens, all I needed was someone to backstop me with the financing to take Ath private for about 300 million. When they had $200 million in cash. So net, I only needed $100 million. Or something like that. It was ridiculous at the time. It still is because back then ATH had minimal cash flow, compared to now when they'll cash flow 400-500 million in cash flow and there is zero debt. The stock is up 20X plus so I'm looking for 20X the financing. Anyone got $2 billion to back me with a privatization bid?
