Shades of Whitecap ?

Shades of Whitecap ?When Whitecap bought XTO at the end of June22 they took on around $1billion in debt and the market knocked the shares down 15% over the next week. However looking back now we see the shares have grown from a low point of $8.25 on July 6th to today's price of $10.49 which 21+% . In between they have had really excellent financials and the purchase is proving to be well liked even though it took a fall when announced.Oil stocks are not just about what Nuttall wants ( sharebuybacks and dividends ) but also sound mergers and acquisitions play a major role in growth and share appreciation. This could prove to be a tremendous buy and we will just have to see how it pans out.
