Nevada King Gold Corp V.NKG

Alternate Symbol(s):  NKGFF

Nevada King Gold Corp. is a mineral exploration company engaged in the acquisition, exploration and evaluation of resource properties in Nevada, United States. The Company’s Atlanta project includes the Atlanta Gold Mine, which is located in the northern portion of Lincoln County, Nevada and is approximately 264 kilometers northeast of Las Vegas, Nevada, and is part of the prolific gold producing Battle Mountain Trend. The project consists of 12 patented and 1560 unpatented mineral lode claims, totaling approximately 12,700 hectares (ha), held 100% by Desert Hawk. The Atlanta project is well situated with regard to physical infrastructure. Prior to mining operations at the site, they established an open pit mine, a tailings dam, a mill and processing area, and a surface impoundment area. It also holds an option to purchase a 100% undivided interest in the property known as the Silver Park property. Silver Park is located within the Atlanta Project boundary, and totals about 24 ha.

they keep coming up with some great drill holes but a previous poster mentioned the ore isn't
a simple oxide ore amenable to simple heach leaching.

The nevada King Gold management is very receptive to serious questions from their shareholers. Here is a resposnse the GGG received regarding their Metalurgical work.

"Please refer to slide 24 of the Nevada King presentation, linked here. This slide discusses our past and current work being done on metallurgy. In a nutshell, here is what we know...
  • From historical work, metallurgy at Atlanta is somewhat unknown. So following our successful 2021 drilling, we started tackling this head on.
  • We brought on Gary Simmons as our consulting metallurgist. He was the head metallurgist for Newmont on a global basis for 20 years, and is one of the best in the business. He also does work for many other Nevada and Great Basin stories including Gold Standard Ventures, Liberty Gold, etc.
  • The first thing he did is to run gold cyanide solubility testing across samples from the 2021 drilling. This demonstrated a weighted average of 86.7% gold cyanide solubility across 986 drill samples. This tells us that the system is oxidized. That is very important as it indicates it should be heap leach amenable - the holy grail in Nevada.
  • From there, we launched an aggressive phase 1 metallurgical test program that just recently got announced. LINK HERE
  • This testing will take until the end of this year to complete, but once we have it, it should show us metallurgical recoveries across various lithologies on the deposit, indicating recovery numbers, and providing a process flow sheet for an eventual production scenario. This will be pre-feasibility level metallurgical testwork.
  • Until then there are some unknowns out there, but there always are.The important thing is we are on the right track and if this does show to be heap leach amenable, it will be one of the higher grades projects like it in Nevada. "

GGG here, it looks like NKG is on the right track and certainly in the right area.
