Notes from Abercrombie in relation to Reitmans

Notes from Abercrombie in relation to Reitmans Abercrombie reported their Q4 numbers this morning. The main point is that they saw sales in Canada up 7% in Q4. Obviously a different customer base than Retimans but revenue showed an acceleration over the past few quarters pointing to healthy spending on apparel and traffic in malls.
The CEO commented that she "remains optimistic on consumer demand in 2023 and expects sequential improvement.
Expects to see net product cost benefits in 2023 (lower cotton pricing and shipping costs).
Take it for what its worth, but its another sign that Q4 should be strong for Reitmans and I expect cashflow to surprise to the upside.
