You seem to be convinced that JK is 100% to blame for lack of enrolment, with no other factors at play.
I will say with 100% confidence that work ethic/employment in ICU's has changed dramatically post Covid. ICU peeps generally staff stepped up during the pandemic. Now a high percentage are quitting (or already have quit) for various reasons including:
- looking for lower pressure jobs
- moving to private healthcare
- under paid
- burn-out
- suffering from PTSD
- early retirement
- generational work ethic change (maybe the snowflake comment was unfair - but made the point - and visible in other industries from all that I have read)
All at a time when Sepsis, one of ICU's highest cost areas, is on the increase.
