Most failures in today's AI models, besides the fact that it isn't perfect yet though close enough...rely
on how it is prompted. I am pretty sure that you would devise better prompts in your field of expertise/knowledge that myself 'causeI'm not an expert at anything in particular.
However most of your expertise/knowledge was obtained from somewhere in the Universal knowledge available and accessible to all connected to the Internet which AI at least theoritically can access when prompted specifically.... the sky and universe being the limit.to what is possible.
likewise more experienced experts in your field could come up with better detailed specific prompts to an AI model than you.
The main thing to keep in mind is that we are not talking about futuristic science fiction we are all getting immersed into it already daily starting with our qwerries  on today's search engines, the advances in the Internet of all things in 5 g speeds etc. which you can already observe in China modern cities and its new urban societies... Every Tesla on the roads is in constant contact with Tesla supercomputer....ditto for  most smartphone.  .
AI is already so pervasive pushing up endlessly he enveloppe on machine learning to creations we don't even envisage yet.
However AI by the same token has the potential when you think of it to destroy our civilisation and even life on this planet.
