RE:RE:I expect a lot of news from IAUIn my view, it's not the number of press releases or results that matter - it's whether those results are significantly better than what the market was expecting.
You could have a flood of news releases, but if nothing stands out as being signficantly more impressive that past resuts, the share price likely won't pop, or perhaps may gain a little only to give it back over the next few trading days.
Basically, all else being equal, I believe your new results are measured against your past results, so if the market has set the bar higher for your company because you have impressed in the past, they expect further upside surprises. Otherwise, the share price will likely stagnate or perhaps even drop. Don't forget, the market knows you're spending money producing these results, so it typically takes a positive surprise to the upside to really give the share price a big jump upward.
