Artis Real Estate Investment Trust is an unincorporated closed-end REIT based in Canada. Artis REIT's portfolio comprises properties located in Central and Western Canada and select markets throughout the United States, including regions such as Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, Ontario, Saskatchewan, Arizona, Minnesota, Colorado, New York, and Wisconsin. The properties are divided into three categories: office, retail, and industrial. The industrial properties account for most of the portfolio, followed by the office properties and the retail properties.

SANDPIPER/MANJIS INVESTMENTS

Combined they have about 20 million shares at let's say average $11.00 which puts their investment value at $220 million.....it's currently worth 176 million on paper, pretty sizeable losses though after distributions is probably not *that bad.

Now if they sold the REIT or actually got it close to NAV they would walk away with 300 million and could buy out dream office.

You'd think Manji out of all people would stay up at night engineering a path to PROFIT and retire!
