HPQ Silicon Inc V.HPQ

Alternate Symbol(s):  HPQFF

HPQ Silicon Inc. (HPQ) is a Canada-based technology company specializing in green engineering of silica and silicon-based materials. The Company is engaged in developing, with the support of technology partners PyroGenesis Canada Inc. (PyroGenesis) and Novacium SAS, new green processes to make the critical materials needed to reach net zero emissions. Its activities are centered around the three pillars: becoming a green low-cost (Capex and Opex) manufacturer of Fumed Silica using the Fumed Silica Reactor, a proprietary technology owned by HPQ being developed for HPQ by PyroGenesis; becoming a producer of silicon-based anode materials for battery applications with the assistance of Novacium SAS, and Novacium SAS is engaged in developing a low carbon, chemical base on demand and high-pressure autonomous hydrogen production system. The Company operates in a single operating segment, segment, being the sector of the transformation of quartz into silicon materials and derivative products.

Silicon Slag to Anode material - HPQ Patent

Silicon Slag to Anode material - HPQ PatentSome great points regarding HPQ Silicon's patent PROCESS FOR TRANSFORMING SILICON SLAG INTO HIGH CAPACITY ANODE MATERIAL FOR LITHIUM-ION BATTERIES.  Thanks to @cashbag2.0 and @cargo:

@cashbag2.0 silicon slag to anode material HPQ patent https://patentscope.wipo.int/search/en/detail.jsf?docId=WO2022087709&_cid=P20-L2TKCL-79978-1&fbclid=IwAR1dEVHWJ2aAMn59jXa_8S1DTrMM1myBcb9QNvX1VNCnEgEil8lmIIWqXuA

@cashbag2.0 thats HPQs patent for the byproduct from the QRR process,I was thinking it may be the product that they will use in the new battery materials plan, but then I thought they are planning to source 3/4 of the material that they will need, and maybe the QRR byproduct is unique to the QRR,so there won't be another source of it.

@cashbag2.0 here from the NR they mention novacium's patented surface treatment. HPQ and Novacium, working with several high-level research centers, intends to investigate how it can improve the battery performance of the material. Furthermore, Novacium will do some tests to see if its patented surface treatment processes can improve the material’s performance.

@cargo I posted this about before that on Nov/11/22 Novacium was assigned two different patents. https://ceo.ca/pyr?492afdfd055b The second patent, a method for carbon materials surface modification by the fluorocarbons and derivative does mention that the it can be used utilized in lithium battery anodes. "The fluorine-containing carbon materials show hydrophobicity, high thermal stability and can be used as catalysts support, lithium battery anodes, and hydrophobic materials or as surface precursor" https://patents.google.com/patent/US10000382B2/en?assignee=NOVACIUM

@cargo This is interesting, looks like to me on Nov/11/22 Novacium has been assigned two different patents, that also includes the registered trademark Fluocar® $HPQ 1) The process for obtaining of fluoralkylated carbon quantum dots https://patents.google.com/patent/US20220041924A1/en?assignee=NOVACIUM 2) Method for carbon materials surface modification by the fluorocarbons and derivatives https://patents.google.com/patent/US10000382B2/en?assignee=NOVACIUM Some more info on Fluocar® https://be-by.facebook.com/fluocar/ look forward to hearing more about this...

Long and Strong in HPQ Silicon and PyroGenesis!
