RE:Tunnel vision BR, As constant company apologists you two are always ready to make excuses for them.
Why? Focus seems so narrow and repetitive without considering other possible circumstances that may arise. constant mention of Ohio - what if on deeper examination, some items surface that causes a more cautious approach to be taken ? The constant mention of Ohio is to let anyone new here and the company know it's not acceptable to say you are doing something then quietly forget about it and then move on to claim something else. Why is it OK with you?
WASHINGTON, D.C. - TheNewswire - October 18, 2021 - Western Magnesium Corporation (TSXV:WMG) (Frankfurt:3WM) (OTC:MLYF) (“Western Magnesium” or the “Company”) is pleased to announce that commissioning of the continuous pilot reactor is now complete.
Management’s goal in creating this new reactor is to develop a new generation of technology that we will include in the current commercial pilot plant and future facilities. This new reactor that is being tested at our partner facilities in Fort St. John, British Columbia is being developed not only for the commercial pilot plant which is currently under construction and on track in the Lower Mainland, British Columbia, but also for the 100,000 metric tonne commercial plant being built in Ohio. Once testing is complete in Fort St. John and magnesium metal is produced as part of the test, we will have successfully developed the next generation reactor which will be faster and more economical in the production of magnesium metal.
No doubt you don't like it being repeated.
Being built!
Not ''hope to build''
Not ''planning to build''
BEING BUILT!
You say oh quit focusing on that little detail.
So why don't you call the company and have them put out a NR as to what happened to it?
Then no more repeating, deal?
Maybe it is being built, lets get an update.
Not being built?
Then why did they say it is being built?
Its fine for the company to ''change plans'' but without updating shareholders and potential investors that this plan is no longer being persued it gives the impression that they put out these false claims to boost the interest, to mislead which of course it does intended or not (its hard to prove intent)
Read carefully, 'gives the impression'.
Granted it may not be intended just incompetence, that's so much better.
Impressions are all we have to go on as the facts are horrendous.
Perception is what counts, just like you and SP always perceive that this company has made great progress.
Why?
In what way?
Their news releases?
There is certainly no evidence of it other than what they say.
It's not reflected in their financials.
It's not reflected in their share price.
It's not reflected in their sales figures.
It's not reflected in their assets.
It's not reflected in their lawsuits filed against them.
It's not reflected in the things people say about them here.
So why do you say they are doing such great things?
Because you ''believe''?
What do you think people think when a company says that they are 'building a 100,000 MT commercial Mega plant in Ohio'?
It's a big deal, maybe I should invest?
No doubt many do, no doubt many did.
If people bought shares in this company based on the statement that they made about building a 100,000 MT/year mega plant, would they have a case against the company for misrepresentation?
Be honest, it's a simple enough question to answer.
Your basic attitude is that what the company says means nothing.
You are correct, that has been proven.
And do you think that the company could just say like you ''oh well things change, tough luck buddy that's the way the cookie crumbles?
It is fraud for a public company to lie.
To say that they are doing something material (yes a 100,000 MT/year mega plant is material) and not actually doing it is a serious offence, no?
Why do you try to minimize that?
Wouldn't be surprised if more law suits are filed.
You defending possible fraud, what does that say about you?
Either they were lying when they said that they are building a 100,000 MT/year commercial magnesium plant in Harrison county Ohio or they are building it.
Why do you object to having them give an update on it?
Why do you want in not mentioned?
You just want to give them a pass.
So it's OK to just ignore it and move on?
Why do you and SP always cover for them?
Why do you not want them to be honest , you just post here and say 'well maybe there are reasons that they are saying things that they are not doing?
Yes maybe, but why not just tell the truth?
OK, what are the reasons?
What is the reason they announce that a commercial scale production facility is being built and then never mention it again?
It's about credibility and keeping their word, they don't.
What they do is just sleazy.
It also has to be taken in context to the last dozen years of always saying one thing then 'changing plans'.
This constitues a track record of never actually moving to the only phase that matters, commercial scale production, sales and revenues.
That is their eventual goal isn't it?
It's gotten to the point where people are just happy if they are still here next month let alone doing something relevant.
Cancelled AGM's, 9 months of silence, ya, that's what a company making progress does.
They say they have something that works beyond their expectations then they announce they will take it apart and move it back to square one?
Why would a company do that?
That is the only thing that they have (or say that they have)
It gives the impression that it doesn't work and that tearing it down and moving it on the premise of building a big new research and development facility in another country is stalling and covering up.
''Gives the impression''
In any case if stalling or not it inevitibly moves the timeline to the right a great deal.
Forever claiming secrecy, proprietary IP and now saying that they plan to license the technology?
It makes no sense and if true signals a total reversal of ideology.
So what changed?
It's always been bait and switch.
From mining their Tami Mosi Nevada project to joining with ScanMag AG of Norway to a JV with Big Blue Technologies then a partnership with the University of Colorado to a pilot plant in Ft St John BC Canada to moving corporate headquarters in Washinton DC opening offices in LA New York to a Commercial Pilot Plant in Burnaby BC, working with car makers, developing new alloys, defence department connections to building a R&D facility back in Nevada.
Purchase agreements?
For what?
When?
It's all deceptive.
Announce one thing then do something else.
Like a giant shell game.
Never actually having anything to show for it except for debts and lawsuits.
When potential investors read ''purchase agreements'', what is it natural to assume?
That if someone has agreed to purchase something there must be something to purchase.
OK, where is it?
How can you sell something that you don't have and can't give a firm date or even estimate when it will be available?
Deceptive.
However, on completion of the annual meeting we will see if the real shareholders have spoken and give the board of directors and personnel the mandate to continue to move this project forward
Really?
People to give the directors a mandate to continue to move the project forward?
What a brilliant statement!
Hmm...what would be option 2?
In actuality it will be giving them a mandate to dyk around for at least another year.
Has it ever happened in the history or civilization that a politician has been elected due to promises that they make and then didn't keep them?
OF COURSE EVERYONE WANTS THE PROJECT TO MOVE FORWARD, WHAT A REDICULOUS STATEMENT!
No, lets vote to stretch this out as long as possible (thats what the BOD are doing)
The problem is dear learned gentleman, despite grand boasts and announcements it isn't moving forward, it is just going in circles.
Who are these genius's that keep refering to Tesla as some kind of example?
In case you haven't heard, Tesla is owned by the RICHEST MAN IN THE WORLD.
That makes a difference.
Did ya know he has many real companies that make billions?
In comparison this company is a homeless person with an empty ice cream bucket with a sigh ''Spare change''.
He way overpays 40 Billion dollars for a social media company because its the right thing to do.
If Tesla Motor Car company never makes money it's nothing to him.
Its a tax writeoff.
Have you ever seem any evidence of his car company?
You can't drive half a mile without seeing 10 of them.
Stop comparing this pathetic nonsence to Tesla, makes you look like a fool.
In the beginning the promoter has the dream and the investor has the money, in the end the investor has the dream and the promoter has the money.
Get your head out of the clouds and realize that you have bought the dream.
A while ago you said 'Not long now''.
You seemed pretty confident with your ''egg on face'' analogy.
Not long for what?
