When do you really loose capital❓

When do you really loose capital❓If stocks fall below your trading price, yes temporarily you loose capital on paper, but as long as you don't sell, you really don't lock in those losses( which indicate as an investors you are hear for the long run), I hate to educate & tell this to the troll.
