We see a very strong growth picture despite economic uncertainty: Pet Valu CEO

Richard Maltsbarger, president and CEO of Pet Valu, joins BNN Bloomberg's Jacqueline Hansen to go over the company's fourth quarter earnings. He says industry growth will slow to its long-term run rate in the mid-single digits in 2023, though Pet Valu expects same-store sales growth in the seven to 10 per cent range. Maltsbarger also talks about implementing automation into Pet Valu strategy as the company adjusts to faster-than-expected growth in the last few years.
