The impact of Montalva news on GRBs stock History doesn't repeat itself, but it often rhymes said Mark Twain...
Consider me biased (as I'm long GRb) but here are 3 key moments from the past when Montalva news came out:
May 19, 2020:
GRB reaches a 25-year commercial offtake agreement with PREPA for the electric power that its Montalva Solar project can ultimately generate.
GRB rises 13.6% to C$1.33 with a volume of 157,000 shares.
June 2, 2020:
GRB reaches its all-time high at C$4.64.
6.3 million shares were traded in the last 3 trading days.
This interest has been mostly attributed to a Chinese-based YouTube influencer though.
January 18, 2021:
GRB provides an update on Montalva.
PREPA and PREP earlier approved Montalva.
It's now up to FOMB to give Montalva its final go.
GRB rises 44% to C$2.3.
479,600 shares were traded.
5 days later, GRB is back at C$3.
Today:
Unfortunately, the FOMB didn't approve Montalva in 2021.
Today, it looks like an agreement (similar like the one from 2020) with PREPA is in the works.
They have until March 13 or so to announce it.
If that works out, PREB and FOMB can make Montalva happen:
