What makes sense is..
The reason the road isn't started already IMO is because the "players" haven't divied up the pie yet.
Where will the road go?
Who owns the land where it will be built and more importantly, who will own it once it's built?
Who will issue permits for restaurants and stores along the money tunnel to the Ring of Fire?
Who will control the supply chain and it's pricing?(Fuel, towing, roadside assist etc.)
Who will police it all? Will it be private cops or OPP? (Funding?)
Every step along the way, this route will have someone's hand in the pocket of taxpayer's and mine owner's alike. Whether agreed upon or not, there's going to be fee's that are blantant and those that are hidden from view to pay off those that hold the power of the purse strings.
