RE:Elon Musk on the BS of short selling things that LOL! Topadvisor1, a.k.a. Muffybell1.
Everyone who read your special kind of refuse may have thought you were clearly lacking a requisite amount of intelligence and simply couldn't be bothered to try to prove for you just how ignorant and downright unintelligent you actually come across as being; and then you simply posted what you have regarding the practice of shorting and particularly your comments about how the options market action doesn't impact a given issuer's share price to the downside as efficiently and effectively as shorting a given equity does directly. LOL! That's when both you - and to some extent Elon Musk himself - proved to everyone and their cousins that you know absolutely nothing about what makes the options market tick.
Understand how simply getting rid of direct shorting of equities issuers actually creates a even bigger and and even more powerfull capability for those utilizing instututional investors capital to go about kicking the the ever loving snot out of one targeted options issuer or any other targeted issuers.
Both you and Elon Musk could be the type of persons who would seek to put out a fire by pouring even more flamable substances onto the fire, thus feeding the fire more.
When we, the actually more informed, speak to the selling short of equities and the options issuers "action", we at least know that we are referring to what can be considered to be "two sides of the very same coin", so to speak; whereas you Muffybell1, a.k.a.. topdavisor1, and Elon Musk himself stating such inanities with respect to such integral investments markets "contributing drivers" demonstrate that you really don't know what you are speaking to in said regard.
I don't appreciate how shorting impacts my investments; never have.
However, it's the fool who believes he/she can change what is meant to most specifically impact the fool.
