Oncolytics Biotech Inc T.ONC

Alternate Symbol(s):  ONCY

Oncolytics Biotech Inc. is a clinical-stage biotechnology company. The Company is focused on developing pelareorep, an intravenously delivered immunotherapeutic agent that activates the innate and adaptive immune systems and weakens tumor defense mechanisms. This compound induces anti-cancer immune responses and promotes an inflamed tumor phenotype turning cold tumors hot through innate and adaptive immune responses to treat a variety of cancers. This improves the ability of the immune system to fight cancer, making tumors more susceptible to a broad range of oncology treatments. The Company’s primary focus is to advance its programs in hormone receptor-positive / human epidermal growth factor 2- negative (HR+/HER2-) metastatic breast cancer and advanced/metastatic pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma to registration-enabling clinical studies. In addition, it is exploring opportunities for registrational programs in other gastrointestinal cancers through its GOBLET platform study.

RE:RE:RE:Cancer will cost the world $25 trillion over next 30 years@fox. I am not sure anyone here has the answers to your valid questions.  Perhaps Sundaylady can offer something on this beautiful day. My only thought is that there are a few companies that have a great deal invested here in time and expertise, and with encouraging results so far, one assumes they are not going to let others pick it up for a song. Then again I am naive and do not really have an answer.

I did a brief layman's look at bladder cancer, and it is possible that the combination of pelareorep and tecentriq might be worth exploring.

Taking a break from here for a while. The thoroughbreds will be starting soon and I have a lot of work to do. Good luck.

PS. Of course one is assuming all the capital is intact.
