RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:I am selling all my shares and retiring........Good advice and you have to love that TSFA, About 30 years ago a very good accountant in West End Vancouver who I met with my business partner at the time warned me about clawbacks etc. in retirement when you have to start drawing out your money. I face that now but I think RRSPs are still worth it as back in those contributing days my tax bracket was 40% and more. RRSPs were hyped up a lot especially back then and all you heard was the good things. Luckily I do not need the retirement income from my RRIFS as real estate has been good to me. Timing is everything and my move from Greater Vancouver last spring to Central Alberta was one huge stroke of good timing and good luck. I hope the luck continues with my stock investments. One has to remember there is risk in every investment regardless of what type. Even holding cash - as CAD is down 20% even against the once lowly Mexican Peso this past year and about 10% against the USD.
