Casinos are much like new cars.    

When you drive it off the lot, sticker price normally falls 20% 

When you open the doors at your brand new casino, there will be normal wear and tear, almost immediately.    

When you consider the 7-day week that your favourite Casinos operate, there will always be a need for upgrades and updates and renovations.   

Pandemic Lockdowns allowed GH opportunity to rejuvenate all properties.     Something to be very proud of.     

So while peer companies closed doors and panicked, GH team took the mandated closures as their time to rebuild.

Deerfoot is consistently in 7/10 to 9/10 range when observing its physical condition.     

Think of it as a cycle: 10/10 rating is only before patrons stepped in the doors; then team maintain the property best they can.    Q1 can be seasonally slow, so when fixtures reach the 7/10 mark, team may seek to refurbish back to 9/10 condition.    

As soon as you start the tractor your diesel is burnin.    

There is a rhythm to property maintenance.    GH's team seem to be some of the best in the business at this type of dance.

The kind of quality you come to expect when management are significant stakeholders themselves.     They care, they are proud.     It's apparent when you visit the properties.
