company trying to PREVENT people from voting

company trying to PREVENT people from votingi have shares in another company that made it very hard for people to vote. they HID the voting instructions in a different news release and showed only a small link to a "circular" with no label to let people know that it contained voting instructions. anybody who did not click on that small link and read that very long document would not have known that voting instructions were hidden in that long document.
plus it required people to register on some website and enter an investor number which was not included and which you had to go through the trouble of finding out yourself.

anybody who did not read that hidden long document and did not go through hoops to register would have missed voting.
in addition, they gave people only a very short time to vote, only one or two weeks. this had to be done online. anybody who was waiting for paper mail with voting instructions would have completely missed the vote!

be on the watch out for company underhanded ways to try and prevent shareholders from voting.

remember, only the votes cast at the meeting will be counted in the percentage. if the large shareholders vote yes and the small shareholders are prevented from voting (or are too lazy to vote), then they can get their vote through and complete the ROBBERY.
make sure you get your vote in on time. they may give only a small time window to vote online. mailing any vote in could be too late.

don't underestimate what underhanded things companies can do. companies have done this before to get a vote through.
