He's consistently misused terminology that the company defines in their releases. And now, with this series of posts, he's spewing out that the company needs 80 wti to "break even"
That's hogwash. Personally I think I'd be happier with 4 cents a month dividend and special dividends from time to time, but saying they need 80 to break even is one of two things:
1. A deliberate misrepresentation
2. The inability to understand financial statements
I can't think of a 3rd possibility, and taking financial input from someone that has either the first or second thing going on ... Well, that's just not for me.
If anyone is wondering about the stability of the dividend, I'd recommend writing IR and asking. They will explain the variables involved. And they won't tell you that they need 80 dollar oil to break even.
