Atlas Salt Inc. is a Canada-based mineral exploration company. The Company is engaged in the evaluation, exploration, development and production of industrial mineral properties in Newfoundland and Labrador. The Company’s principal asset is the Great Atlantic salt deposit project (Great Atlantic Salt Project), located in the St. George Basin of western Newfoundland. Its Gypsum Project is three kilometers (km) southwest of Great Atlantic salt deposit, which is an early-stage and open-pit production from the Ace deposit. Its Nepheline Syenite Property consists of a surface occurrence of nepheline syenite along the southern Labrador highway. The project is located approximately six km from tide water.

They didn't say two weeks but they did say a rigorous search over a few weeks but even that was wrong as they likley underestimated the timeline once a firm like KBRS gets involved. Have you ever been involved in an executive search via a recruitment firm? If they had a possible candidate lined up there would be no firm like KBRS involved. The main reason is that once a recruitment firm is engaged and if the company picks someone from outside the KBRS search, the firm still gets paid (usually 30% of expected first year all-in compensation).

Searches like this can go 3-6 months, on average. We are almost one month in now. I don't think you will see anything for between 1.5 to 3 months.

Why does it matter to investors if the share goes below $1 in the interim if those investors are in for the end game anyway? Sure, flippers will be put out but who really cares about them :)
