Banks are not crashing so far, the few affected by some bank run due to depositors withdrawals in the news latey can easily be refloated/bought outright at a large discount by the biggies too big to fail .
However if even one of the biggies would crash that would be the 2008 monetary crisis revisited.
and a lot of startup co like RHT being wiped out\ with your invested money as well.
