Sixth Wave Innovations Inc SIXWF

Sixth Wave Innovations Inc. is a Canada-based nanotechnology company with patented technologies. The Company is focused on the extraction and detection of target substances at the molecular level using specialized molecularly imprinted polymers (MIPs). The Company’s product brands include AMIPs, IXOS and Affinity. The IXOS is a line of extraction polymers formulated for deployment in the gold mining industry. The Affinity system is using its MIPs, which are designed to capture and extract cannabinoids from filtered crude extracts without the use of traditional winterization and distillation. The Company’s patent portfolio covers extensions of the designs for extraction and purification of other critical metals including nickel, cobalt, rare earth elements, and platinum group metals. It also designs, develops and commercializes MIP solutions across a spectrum of industries.

RE:RE:RE:Could Barrick Gold be involved with Sixth Wave?Iscfa,

Looks like IXOS should work with, and is even ideal for this specific situation in which GlyCat and Barrick are involved.

Earlier, I made a post about a topic called "Resin Balls", a forum thread from a place about gold discussion.

Several replies to the OP of the thread by a forum mod suggested Ion Exchange resins were less than ideal. Among the criticisms:
-Glycine is more expensive than using only cyanide and carbon
-IX Resins with Gylcine results in shorted Resin lifespan

However, from the data available it sounds like IXOS savings/benefits should outweigh the additional cost of using glycine, and that IXOS, being specifically designed around glycine, doesn't suffer lifespan drawbacks.

IOW this isn't accurate to IXOS. The name IXOS alone is shorthand for "Ion Exchange on Steroids" (company's own words), suggesting its inherent purpose is to excel where established resins fall short.

I am thinking one thing might lead to another for SIXW given the overlap of conditions being tested by Barrick and MPS and the conditions IXOS is ideal for.
