TESLA - HYDROGEN " Volkswagen plans to invest in mines to bring down the cost of battery cells, meet half of its own demand and sell to third-party customers, the carmaker’s board member in charge of technology said.
Its strategy aligns with a wider trend of carmakers seeking greater control over parts of the supply chain traditionally left to third parties, from energy generation to raw material sourcing, as they compete for scarce resources they urgently need to meet electrification targets. "

Did you catch it ? Have greater control over the supply chain.
My impression is.... once out of ground and miner passes it
off to end prodcut - car manufacturer - i'll place that bet and say,
battery metals inside of car - will be thier - own sullpy chain -
always having their supply in - next generation vehicles.
I offered the idea years ago, whereas,
juniors should " tag " their minerals from
miner to province, to country owned - and
upon next gen turnover, a kick back in residual
is given to, miner, province, country owned per tonne.
Hence - origins from from and country always gain.
WHERE COULD VOLKSWAGON - GO WRONG ? Feb 1, 2023 — VW says hydrogen isn't competitive
and instead will focus its efforts on becoming a
bigger rival for Tesla on the EV front.
https://insideevs.com/news/650152/volkswagen-rules-out-hydrogen-cars/
Where's the issue with this Volkswagon - model ?
They're chasing Tesla not - leading.
As i've mentioned before - Elon Musk is known for his = Quick Moves.
Never say never.. .Tesla won't jump into hydrogen.
i would be confident in saying....
car manufacturers are no fools...
they know by securing thier own supply chain
means... having one's own - out of ground -
in vehicles - battery metals - and if set up properly
they will be able to - extract samer minerals - for
future gen vehicles....
EV CARS - imo would cater to an - initial mass ownership
of such minerals - due to - ev vehicles - require far more.
which makes sense to run with ev firstly... as a car line up.
But... what's coming on strong in the second lane ?
Other vehicle manufacturers running with hydrogen.
Which places them as, pioneers and leaders.
First to market.
Is GM making hydrogen cars?
General Motors is the only company developing and commercializing both hydrogen fuel cells and EV battery technology, and the Ultium Platform and HYDROTEC fuel cell power cubes deliver where it matters most – performance and cost And of course... Toyota - is well advanced with hydrogen.
What are my thoughts after a few weekend posts ?
I would say.... NEWMONT.... would be a perfect csndidate,
and suitor for our lil junior.
All becuase....
- very close to ev nickel claims
- Newmont could benefit with their existing electrowinning plant
- nickel can produce hydrgoen - opens the door for Newmont
into other profitable markets
- nickel hydrgoen could benefit Newmont in making own power
transforming current operation in Timmins
- Allows Newmont to expand portfolio -other metals than gold
- Newmont is pretty close to - Porcupine River - ideal location
- Extremely profitable when converting nickel to metal
vs other nearny peers running concentrates
- would allow ev nickel a very quick transition into JV partner
or, Newmont takes it all.
What's ideal about nickel ?
It caters to both - ev and hydrgoen cars.
This is where global planning can work with each other
using same - nickel - and know nickel serves two outcomes
allowing a universal - growth without - tech constantly changing.
Round this post out with....
Switching to hydrogen by,

A case for - HYDROGEN.
Cheers....
Oh Newmont....
wakey, wakey... .tease.
