RE:WHAT A ROUTE

RE:WHAT A ROUTE
Not entirely sure what you mean by right the ship, but will guess in your mind that means no hike today, which I think is somewhat unlikely, not impossible but unlikely. I really don't think a 25 bip hike impacts the market anyways. Now more than ever the presser will be what moves the market beyond a kneejerk on rate move. I would be well more concerned with what direction this management team takes going forward. Fed is very very near terminal rate at this point so peak rates are all but priced in. Question now is how long do they maintain them and what effect will it have on earnings. Things are moving and developing fairly quickly here and we can easily see some dramatic changes and moves depending on how things shake out here. I haven't added to anything other than initiating newer short term Canadian banks of late which is working for now. In the meantime, will be waiting, collecting and scrutinizing very carefuly going forward.
