Royal Helium Ltd. V.RHC

Alternate Symbol(s):  V.RHC.WT.A | V.RHC.WT.B | RHCCF

Royal Helium Ltd. is a Canada-based company, with a primary focus on the production and development of helium and associated gases and is currently producing helium from its Steveville project in Southern Alberta. Its helium reservoir at Steveville is carried primarily with nitrogen. Nitrogen is not a greenhouse gas (GHG) and therefore have a low GHG footprint when compared to plants in other jurisdictions that rely on large scale natural gas production for helium extraction.

Near-Production Helium Play

Near-Production Helium Play

Helium shortages have significant impacts on aerospace, space exploration, semiconductor, welding, and other industries. Shortages also create critical situations in hospitals where a continuous supply of helium is required to cool MRI machines.

Royal Helium (RHC.v RHCCF) is the largest helium leaseholder in North America, with control over more than one million acres of potentially helium-rich land.

RHC's Steveville Helium Plant in Alberta is set to come online in early Q2, with an expected daily output of 15 million cubic feet of helium. However, this is just the beginning of RHC's plans for production. The company aims to have its Climax Conventional, Ogema, and Val Marie projects up and running in 2024.

RHC's Nazare project holds the most substantial helium resource of all its projects, being almost nine times larger than the Steveville resource. The company plans to commence helium extraction from this significant resource in 2025.
