K92 Mining Inc. is a Canada-based company, which is engaged in the production of gold, copper and silver at the Kainantu Gold Mine in the Eastern Highlands province of Papua New Guinea, as well as exploration and development of mineral deposits in the immediate vicinity of the mine, including Blue Lake, in Papua New Guinea. The Company holds the mining rights to Mining Lease 150 (ML 150). Within and surrounding ML 150 is an epithermal vein field consisting of multiple known and highly prospective vein systems: Kora, Irumafimpa, Karempe, Judd, Kora South, Judd South, Mati, Maniape and Arakompa. Mining is focused on the Kora vein system, consisting of two dominant veins and the Judd vein system consisting of four known veins with one vein being mined. There are multiple near-mine infrastructure targets, within the Kora-Kora South, Judd-Judd South and Karempe vein systems.

RE:Anyone see any chance of this being bought out by a major?As it stands now KNT is only a possible prospect; acquisition dynamics dictate that you buy for the potential upside (and take a risk of proving it) and pay a fair price for existing proven resource.
While true that company claims possible 10 million oz but that is at laughable 0.6g/t so it is not that attractive. Exiting high grade ore gives them very low cost production but again that is only ~130k oz on a good year.
IMHO; this company is better off expanding high grade production to that 300k + level (as they are doing now) and explore their existing leases for more attractive grade. Majors are always looking but they go for BIG numbers and de risking plays. Right now KNT is not quite there yet; share appreciation is what I’m looking for as a shareholder.
