Thinking about the timing of the trademarks

It seemed odd that the news of the trademarks came only a short while before closing of the TSX yesterday. I am wondering if this is a way of priming us for what is coming on monday. News was to have been forthcoming earlier than this, but it is still coming. Will it be Monday?
