That part of the video presentation, in my opinion, is interesting. By doing design wins with customers there could result in spin off solutions of which poet can sell to others. Maybe ADVA's sales forces could be behind this?
Results like Poet has achieved with ADVA will add extra revenue. Wonder how many other projects that Poet has that will further add additional revenue than initially roadmapped for?
Poet and its customers work together. Together they are doing things that no one has ever done, in this way, before. This is such a "step-up" change for the industry that no wonder so much has been under NDA.
A few years ago Poet projected revenue about 3 or so years out. So, in general, they are not really that far behind in terms of where they are today. In other areas, Poet is actually ahead.
I've bought into managements idea of a few years ago that the real revenue in 2024 anyway (also I took Covid into account). Unfortunately the truth gets mocked here, but that does not matter to me as I am not a daytrader but an investor in Poet's longterm. Suresh seems to be setting Poet up with a pipeline of revenue opportunities almost like, in my opinion, like a pharmaceutical that will be dominant and around for many years.
