Is there a value proposition better than KRR?
Is there a value proposition better than KRR?Farquar pointed out correctly that a lot of miners like Fortuna (FVI), Wesdome (WDO) and Argonaut (AR) had bad earnings reports but climbed with the price of gold but KRR despite having positive earnings didn't.
About a month ago Torex Gold reported it's earnings, $0.45 a share! I thought that was great, almost $2 annualized! I thought about buying them but didn't and kept my Karora shares! Been kicking myself ever since! They're up 50%!
Someone on the KRR board mentioned what the avg price increase of gold would mean to Karora, approx $200 more than the fourth qtr. He came up with approximately $30 million more in earnings annualized ($200 * 150k oz)! On approximately 170 million shares outstanding that's about $.28/share annualized! This means approximately .07 more per Qtr! Putting this on top of our 5 cent earnings from the last qtr we are looking at $0.12/Qtr!
How about Torex? They have only 80 million shares outstanding! They produce 450k per year. What's that mean for their bottom line? ($200 * 450k oz)! They earn an extra $90 million/yr or approximately $1.10 more/share per year! On top of their approximately $2 per share earnings last year, that makes $3.10 /share, if all remains equal, this year! Battery metals? They also have that! Copper!
I sold half my Karora yesterday and bought some TXG! The algos got to me!
Sorry for this long spam!
