RE:CounterintuitiveThe budget seems too complicated and costing big money. Tax credits fine, but still many billions to invest by private companies. Who will step up?
or let public utiltities like BC Hydro, Sask Power, Hydro Quebec do the building.
Is that's why the Gov't is giving tax credits to public utilities?
15-40% tax credit for hydrogen depending on a set of emission requirements. So blue hydrogen would get less than green hydrogen.

That green hydrogen development in the Netherlands will use Gemini windfarm in the early stages. When the new wind farm is built, then what happens to Gemini? I never really thought about it, but when a windfarm is decomissioned, can another one be built on the same site?
Supplying electricity to the hydrogen project involves re-allocation priority by the Netherlands Gov't which has a 15 year PPA with Northland.
To make a meaningful impact on Northland's bottom line, the company must bid on the new 700MW windfarm. Cash flows would start in 2031 with better prices.
I think Northland will have a long-term presence in the area.
