Replying to Q's & clarifying other stuff......RetiredCF,
1. As was indiated by 5i, clearly management wants to keep their head in the game and see if they can again duplicate what they accomplished over the past 4 years; and
Totally agree on point one, and yes, i believe that was the INTENT by mgmt from the beginning. Or else the deal would not have been structured in the way it was.
2. As for today's selling, presumably some investors want to access their money now and are not prepared to wait until 17 July to get their multiple dividends, wts, new shares etc and then carry on with the same team. But with the revised consensus targets still approaching $19.00, they are potentially giving up quite a bit in order to to exit early. GLTA
As for point two, yes, i believe that could also be the case here, and be partially responsible for the selling pressures we are witnessing right now with SDE. Along with the MMs doing their THING and some arbitration as well. With regards to folks "giving up quite a bit to exit early, whther it is the right move or not, it all depends on the individual and their investing capabilities or isavviness to improve their current situation with the monies they have invested here. It might be a good move for some and it might not work out as intended for others.
To save some time & space, i will also respond to your following comment below.
"LOL. Normally I check someone's posting history but am busy today so didn't. That said, he can certainly write better than many I've encountered. GLTA"
This is a good point you made here retiredCF, something thayt many investors FAIL to do and check the credibility of other investors by looking at what they posted in the past. Unfortunately for all of us, SH in their "magnificant & infinte" wisdom, decided this wasn't important or a good thing for them and have either prevented or completely deleted EVERYONES previous posts more than a year old. So if you wish to see/vette if someone is a good or bad investor, a troll, a spammer, a fraudster or just plain being deceitful in some manner, by looking at their previous comments, well, this is NO LONGER available to anyone.......any longer. Even your past comments aren't accessible anymore Mr. RitredCF. Which is a damn shame for all investors who come on this forum looking for good information to improve their investment opportunities.
In addition, i will "nip in the bud" right away some falsehoods or half truths being spread on here by some dubious posters. Investors should be very weiry when certain folks come on here posting misleading comments by using inactive accounts. That's usually a big red flag that these people have ulterior motives in their intents and their main objective is to deceive or misinform investors. So i will discredit them right away and debunk the following statement below. As this person does not derserve a "direct" reply from me, for his ignorant comments made, i will post my reply to him below on here for all to see.

"Simonette was never part of Velvet. That's the old Cequence assets Spartan bought out of bankruptcy."
This statement by the person above is partially false. The Simonette property includes BOTH the old Velvet lands AND the Cequence assets that Sparta bought in BK proceesings a few years back. Both those acquisitions were combined to what we NOW know as Simonette under the SDE umbrella. In the seal struck with Crescent Point, CPD acquired most of those old properties in Simonette which were inder the previous Velvet and MAYBE some of Cequence's as well, but i cannot confirm the latter 100% as its is difficult to distinguish which indivdual parcel of land was bought and which were not.
I hope this clarifies this point and please be cautious with comments made by folks like BlackHack444 who are either ignorant or not knowledgeable in this sector or by folks who are intent to deceive you.
