Un losange de continuation ( la hausse) est peru comme un signal haussier et comme une indication que la tendance la hausse sera maintenue. Les prix crent des sommets plus levs et des creux plus bas dans une formation qui s'largit, puis la plage des prix de l'action devient de plus en plus troite aprs que les sommets aient atteint leur plus haut niveau et que les creux aient amorc une tendance la hausse. Cet vnement technique se produit lorsque les prix effectuent une perce la hausse hors de la formation en losange et poursuivent la tendance la hausse amorce prcdemment, ce qui confirme la figure.
