NILI well positioned as lithium space heats up

NILI well positioned as lithium space heats up
The lithium space is continuing to heat up, spurring M&A activity and raising the stock of small-cap early-stage lithium miners, especially following Albemarle's $3.7 billion bid to acquire a Tesla Supplier and Australian lithium start-up.

One company that has the potential to capitalize on the significant opportunities arising from the lithium space is Surge Battery Metals (NILI.v NILIF), as they recently announced the approval to commence an additional drill program following the significant lithium clay discovery at its Nevada North Lithium Project!

NILI plans to drill 7 new locations within an extensive surface geochemical covering an area of about 1,700m east-west in mid-May 2023.

The new targets were selected to expand the currently identified lithium deposit to the west and north, as well as to determine continuity between the 2022 holes drilled.

Set to occur in two bands approximately 300-400m wide, the drill program will outline a highly anomalous zone containing abundant sample points greater than 1,000ppm lithium and as high as 5,950ppm.
NILI CEO, Mr. Greg Reimer, commented, “We are very pleased to have received approval to commence our next drill program at our Nevada North Project. Following on from the success of our 2022 drill program, we believe that our understanding of this lithium clay discovery has expanded greatly, and we are eager to drill these seven newly proposed drill locations. Drilling these locations is a major step in further assessing the ultimate deposit size of our lithium claystone resource at NNLP.
