Present Day Bias

Present Day BiasMost prefer to look only at the current situation without giving much thought to where the puck is going because that is the easier path to take. Recessions generally are short term events in an economic cycle. Normally the disruption is minimal long term as policies are reversed to stimulate the economy. 

Fear of a recession is overblown currently providing astute investors with opportunities. Yes the economy will slow temporarily but should recover nicely thereafter as always.  The present situation is not the future likely. Inflation and higher interest rates only add to the cost of new supply making existing supply more valuable, not less, long term.
