He also spent about $ 500,000 exercising his options. Therefore he has about $1.4 million to use to pay his tax bill on a net capital gain of about $1.0 million max, if we are factoring in that the shares he actually sold cost him nothing.
On top of that, your assumption that the value of the stock drops come this time next year, if valid, should have all shareholders worried. In fact, I have been saying for quite sometime that HWX is overvalued and the shareprice since November has proven me to be correct!
