RE:RE:Pay DateNot sure why you would lie about receiving a Telus dividend on April 1st? The pay date was April 3rd. No company pays dividends early. Also, the word is "financial." You have misspelled it. It is common knowledge that Telus has been taking steps to mitigate fallout from the Shaw/Rogers merger. More competition means more pressure on Telus to lower their prices; however, the situation with late dividends has been going on since before the Shaw/Rogers merger was announced. It has nothing to do with my broker becuase, as I have already stated, with every other dividend paying company I own, the dividend is in my account exactly on the pay date. Finally, "trouble meeting their obligations" doesn't necessarily imply financial trouble. There are myriads of other reasons why a company would pay their dividend obligations late.
