RE:Divi 12%

RE:Divi 12%

RE: "Any thoughts?": The reason for this is "math".

How fixed price DIV's work:
Stock price of $1 with DIV of $0.10 fixed price. Result: DIV pays $0.10.
Stock price raises to $2 with DIV of $0.10 fixed price. Result: DIV pays $0.10.
Stock price lowers to $0.50 with DIV of $0.10 fixed price. Result: DIV pays $0.10.

How % based DIVs work:
Same stock of $1 with DIV of 10% fixed %. Result: DIV pays $0.10.
Same stock raises to $2 with DIV of 10%. Result: DIV pays $0.20.
Same stock lowers to $0.50 with DIV of 10%. Result: DIV pays $0.05.

Basic math 101?

Is there a more specific question you'd like to ask?
