the reason i am invested is because star has many more advantages. star is a smaller canadian company, thus can easily reach out to smaller airline operators who are looking for a solution that is customisable to meet their needs. data is owned by the operators and not by the big companies like airbus rollsroyce ge and boeing. star also does inflight analysis. everyone else is post flight software only or use data from ground based stations. star has full hardware and software so they dont need to rely on anyone for data and the analysis. flyht is closest competitor, but when i had researched them, they only acquire and transmit data from blackbox while i was told star gets data from other computers onboard and have their own code for analysis inflight. star lacks on marketing and hasnt shown its advantages. wasted money for years but hoping new management turns this around
