RE:RE:New Press Release - Hudbay and Copper Mountain Combine to Create a Premier Americas-Focused Copper Producer
A couple things:
1) This price seems too low and I wouldn't be surprised if someone comes in with a better offer.
2) If no one comes in with a better offer, the copper industry is in even worse shape than I thought. There's zero money for exploration right now and the valuations on mid-cap miners are so cheap. We're going to need so much copper for green energy and this is how companies are getting valued? This is the mother of all trades the way it's shaping up. $6-$10/lb is guaranteed in copper beause there's no supply.
