RE:RE:RE:RE:XBI up 5 % today....CZO down 3% "Losers sign deals before its time." So Gilles doesn't even have a single deal (no functional drink, no BG pill - as they say in Texas, all hat no cattle).
"Gilles is skating to human clinical trial data." Bad pun trying to use Gretzy quote here when he has skated and fell flat on his face already before. Remember the 2018-20 BG pill study (BG Pill study):
“The commencement of this study represents a noteworthy milestone in the development of our beta glucan program and could be the most significant transformational step we have taken to date in executing on our strategy to transition Ceapro’s business model towards becoming a biopharmaceutical company with the potential to provide an innovative product in a multi-billion dollar and growing market. On the technical side, we are pleased with the final formulation of beta glucan powder, which has been produced in house using our disruptive PGX technology and additionally with the final tablet developed with Montreal-based specialty pharmaceutical companies, Corealis and Halo Pharma, who respectively completed the pharmaceutical development and the production of clinical lots for the trial. We are extremely grateful to be working with the expert team led by Dr. Tardif at MHI and MHICC, who shares a synergistic goal in Ceapro’s contemplated sector of activities in inflammation-based diseases, metabolic syndrome and other lifestyle diseases,” added Gilles Gagnon, M.Sc., MBA, President and CEO of Ceapro.
Dollars down the drain and his response to this abject failure after all the promises? Powder formulation would have been better. Does he share how this new AV pill will be better and show the lessons learned from past failures? No, according to this Prophet/Digitel (note this past account was banned) - it's not worth being transparent since it's "top secret". Spoken like a middle schooler trying to fool their parents.
Compare the past BG pill news releases and current PR, it's all similar phrases (significant milestones, transformational, even same pill manufacturer etc.) - in fact, looks like it's generated by ChatGPT3 so Gilles might have been "hiding this tech" from us shareholders?
"Mickey Mouse deal" - Gilles said this few years ago and you're repeating the same thing. Wouldn't be surprised if you're paid for all these nauseating promotional posts talking about the future when the past few years of this transition has shown only failures. Since this "Mickey mouse" comment, tt's been a few years and before you use the COVID excuse AGAIN, note that it wasn't just CZO that was affected - many other publicly listed companies were too - the only difference is CEOs that have shown they can create value for their shareholders, communicate this value to the market and demonstrated being able to create a management team able to lead their departments to sign various agreements. Personally, lacking a strong management team for such a long period speaks volumes about Gilles.
For the first time, I will be voting against Gilles during the AGM. I was quite shocked to see 2022 AGM Meeting results where 33.37% withheld their vote for Gilles. I urge other shareholders to do their own due diligence so Gilles understands that he works for the shareholders, not the other way around. I hope he's aware of the TSX requirements (yes CZO is listed in the TSX-V) and the 2020 TSX Voting update (or will he still feign ignorance like he's been doing with signing the agreements or uplisting to NASDAQ or the other past promises).
The TSX also requires issuers to adopt a majority voting policy that provides:
1. If a director is not elected by a majority of the votes cast, he or she will immediately tender his or her resignation to the board;
2. The board will determine whether or not to accept the resignation;
3. The board will accept the resignation absent exceptional circumstances that warrant the director continuing to serve on the board; and
4.The issuer will promptly issue a news release with the board's decision, fully stating the reasons for the decision if the board determines not to accept the resignation.
