An Interesting and True Statement TheTruth1234, who I think was previously craighenry, made an interesting and mostly true statement. He couldn’t prove it at the time he made it but it did turn out to be true
He said, "The lack of anything coming to fruition was enough for us "Trolls" to know Bioasis is a nothing burger." He claims he said that 6 years ago or something.
I put a lot of work into studying xB3, the opportunities it presented, its competitors, Denali, neurodiseases, and many other related things. xB3 has never been revealed as a failure. All three CEOs claimed, when asked, that there were no known or perceived problems with xB3.
And yet, Bioasis looks like it's failing. There's one last play, one last shoe to drop, but it probably won't be anything of value. There's no doubt that it bothers me that Bioasis will be a failure, that it can't be saved.
If xB3 works as we've always hoped, and there are a great many scientists who have expressed the opinion that it likely will, then what should we think? I have to say that I admit to what beenthere has always said, that we are victims.
I confess that I had faith that xB3 was such an opportunity that Bioasis could not fail no matter whose hands it was in. I figured that pharmas would grasp the opportunities for easy money. But here we are, two cents worth of nothing.
If xB3 falls into Rathjen's hands and the hands of other private concerns, and if xB3 actually works, then what are we to think?
There was always a little voice telling me that I should be worried about Hutchison and Rathjen. Day, too, but he really didn't have much of a chance to do anything for reasons that may be revealed one day.
The "lack of anything coming to fruition" is an important consideration. The lesson from it is this, at least in my opinion, that if you're concerned about anything at all with respect to a stock, don’t buy it, and if you have bought it, sell it, immediately, and don't look back. I met a very smart investor in Calgary back in April 2019 at the roadshows and at a party afterwards. He seemed enthusiastic but I learned later that he passed on the investment because he had questions that weren't answered to his satisfaction. I admired his ability to pass on this "great story". He has rules and he followed them. We did, however, have great conversations about music, musicians and other topics.
Don't hold a stock for a second longer if you have even the slightest worry. It likely means that no TSXV stock should be bought and held. No matter how promising the story appears, or actually is, it seems to me that it's unlikely that the company's management and directors are capable of making a success of it. Too many of these people are in it for reasons contrary to shareholder interests.
I may be wrong. Maybe xB3 is no good. I hope I’m around long enough to learn the truth about that.
