RE:Sleeping copper assets - how much are they worth? Its not just in their best interest but they may be legally required as a public company to announce any previously unannounced material matters or findings.
Under the pressure of a fast paced interview on BNN Jonathan Price's answer to a question on why Teck Metals was undervalued was (to the effect of):
"...our pipeline of growth projects....that include some exciting new opportunities..."
This CEO statement imo indicates that the "growth pipeline" and "new opportunites" therein are very, very material. It was his answer off-the-cuff answer which seems genuine, which means that the company needs to detail publicly any new material matters.
Well played MoneyK.
Someone with a legal background here might want to draft up and shoot off a pointy little email to Jonathan and his legal dept head.
