RE:Yikes!!!....All this NOW makes sense....It's not "a disaster". This water was always going to be released. And this water is not contaminated with anything. It is simply muddy water and was being held in a pond so that the sediments would fall to the bottom. Instead, literally, some of the water spilled over the edge, into the river, where it would have gone anyway in a few days. The whoel story is BS. The toal amount of water discharged early is 17 meters cubed. It's about as much water would fit in a couple of olympic pools. And it's clean water. Just muddy, and as said, it was going to be released anyway.
