RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Just a small update.......we'll certainly see. my thesis on pipestonei s more micro but it could be wrong. i thought it was a takeover bid which apparently it was but their dumb team turned it down last year. now they've shattered the confidence with investors so M&A or going private are the only two viable options.
i think paramount is the buyer of that land due to notes i read from peters & co with paramount management. the company stated they were on the pursuit for an acquisition up to $2 billion which they could swallow easily. their intention with the latest wapiti well makes me think they'd like to expand north. someone who knows the company wellt old me he thinks it would be great to acquire pipestone given take-or-pay commitments to keyera.
just my 2 cents. agree, finding out who the land buyer was will be instrumental!
